Our Story
About MetroDIS
MetroDIS (Metro Toronto Drug Information Service) is a subscription-based knowledge translation service affiliated with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada.
Our team of drug information specialists and clinical pharmacists provides timely, evidence-based responses to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals.

Our Mission
To provide healthcare professionals with timely, accurate, and evidence-based drug information that supports optimal patient care and medication safety.
Hours of Service
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST, excluding weekends and statutory holidays.
Our Team
MetroDIS is staffed by rotating drug information pharmacists with broad pharmacy and health care knowledge. The service is supported by Sunnybrook pharmacy's Medication Information, Safety and Quality (MedIQS) team.

Our Services
Drug Information
The MetroDIS pharmacist provides unbiased and timely responses to drug-related questions and advice on patient care. Where applicable, supporting documentation is sent via e-mail. In addition to addressing drug-related issues, MetroDIS may also provide hospital pharmacy practice advice through access to the Sunnybrook pharmacist network.

Full members receive Latest News emails, highlighting news stories, frequently asked questions, and Sunnybrook documents added to the website as they become available. Latest News is posted on our website homepage.
Website
The MetroDIS website contains up-to-date drug information for pharmacists and other healthcare providerss.
